I have been googling away and can't find an answer about where 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 are assigned to either the Sugar Bowl or Rose Bowl. Would UGA vs Washington go to New Orleans or Pasadena? How is it decided?

I don't think a contract extension was warranted. When IU went 6-2 in the pandemic season, they beat UM, MSU, Wisconsin, and PSU along with 2 others. Those 4 schools were all having terrible seasons and ended with bad records. That hardly qualifies as a great season for IU. Dolson should not be there anymore. He displayed his incompetence. No major program wanted Allen obviously.

Dolson needs to be fired also. He is the @@@ that a couple of years ago gave Allen a big raise and contract extension which will cost IU a fortune.

I wonder how this will affect Notre Dame. The ACC may collapse and what then? -
The NCAA announced its penalties for the U of Tennessee football program. It includes an $8 million fine and scholarship reductions among other things. It will also require them to forfeit some wins from about 4 or 5 years ago. I am wondering if their close win over IU in the Gator Bowl will be one of those wins.

I wonder how other bad football programs turned things around. I know that Kansas State, Northwestern, Kentucky, and several others managed to do it. I don't think Dolson is the guy that can get it done. He is just a placeholder. -

Good to see IU get a big win against the Alabama Penal Institute. -
How to fix the Big 10 and its constant failure during March Madness
Gahoosierfan replied to iubb's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
It would work wonders if IU could consistently shoot threes and quit being so one-dimensional on offense, that is always trying to push the ball inside instead of running intelligent plays like Creighton, UConn, etc. -

I am curious to hear what others think was the reason for the B10's disastrous performance in the NCAA tournament. Was this a one-off or is the B10 slowly becoming irrelevant? -

The offense is now one-dimensional. TJD and no one else. -

IU sports are really injury prone. -
This season is going to be the best that Allen can produce. He is in over his head. He is a good recruiter, but not a good head coach.

IU never conducts a nationwide search for the best coach available in any sport. They always look for someone with IU connections which means we are not getting anywhere near the best coach we could get. It is the IU way. No AD ever deviates much from this.
