Yeah he thinks his scheme is perfect the way it is and that today's performance is an outlier. The problem is that this happens all the time against teams like Louisville, Wisconsin, Butler, etc. His teams have ALWAYS turned the ball over at an alarming rate. They ALWAYS look disorganized and confused in the halfcourt and they ALWAYS make dumbfounding mistakes on the defensive side of the ball. These things wouldn't bother me so much if they were the outliers with his teams but this isn't the case. He just does not possess the ability to be elite nationally. What we have seen in the almost decade with him, is exactly what we have to look forward to. I wish it wasn't the case bc I realize that he's here to stay for a while. I'm just bummed out about where we are. I just want us to fulfill our potential as a basketball program. Right now we are settling for being an inconsistent, middle of the pack (nationally) program. We can do much better than this. Just need the right fit. Brad Stevens, would be perfect for Indiana but won't be a realistic possibility, ever. We are just going to have to get lucky. This is pure torture. We all know what our ceiling is under Crean but we are stuck watching this awful brand of basketball for a minimum of another 3 years. I can't stand to watch this team play. The same mistakes every single game.

He's actually digressed. He's like 20 points lower on FG%. Still can't rebound the ball for a guy his size. Looks like he wears cinder blocks for shoes...

Just leave Deron Davis in the game. TB is useless today.

That and not having offensive sets in the half court. They are literally the exact opposite of us style wise. We just have to hope they go cold, like they are capable of doing.

A team that turns the ball over 1/4 of its possessions, has no PG, and has no organization on offense isn't going to string together more than maybe 1-2 wins, against tournament quality teams. We can beat anyone and lose to anyone. That bodes badly in tournament play. My hopes for this team have been completely deflated. We have a ton of talent but lack some vital characteristics that almost all championship teams have.

One of my good buddies brings this up all the time. Makes zero sense and hurts us all too often.

The administration made it abundantly clear, 2 seasons ago, that they won't be forced by the fans into any decision they don't want to make. We have no voice with this administration. Again, 2 seasons ago made this clear.

His seat may be heating up with the fanbase, but it's nice and cozy with the administration. I agree it's nice to be able to come to a place to voice frustration. Just don't let yourselves get worked into a frenzy bc the odds of him being gone within the next 3 years is as close to zilch as they can get. It would take Kevin Wilson-esque type of scenario to get him out sooner.

You guys might as well lock this thread and throw away the key. Crean isn't going anywhere for a LONGGGGGG time, whether we like it or not. 0.00000% chance of him being fired before the end of this contract and I'd put money on it that he's here longer.

And getting 11-12 guys even minutes.

Done watching this team. So much talent yet consistently playing down to their opponent. They won't go far this year. Book it.

Wilkes has way more help on his team than Langford @ New Albany. Completely outmatched at every position but Langford's.
