  1. That is my point though. I understand it’s not the whole picture. We’ve had the gavitt games or B1G/ACC games that get scheduled for us. We as a program need to be challenging ourselves and seeking out big time OOC games to get on the schedule. I’m glad we are doing that. But we’re not proving worthy of being in these matchups so far. Hopefully that’s our next step.
  2. Updated… Marquee OOC matchups we have scheduled ourselves the last 2 seasons: Arizona: -14 @ Kansas: -22 UConn: -20 Auburn: -28 Kansas: TBD Totals to date: -84 Averaging a 21 point defeat so far. I think we hit the century mark next weekend!!
  3. Got it. The reading comprehension thing. Tells me all I need to know. I WILL SAY WHATEVER NONSENSE ITS ON YOU TO INTERPRET IT CORRECTLY NO BLAME FOR ME AT ALL THIS IS HOW IT IS.
  4. Yeah forgive me for interpreting your multiple posts about the refs as you thinking the refs were making a difference in this game. That’s totally on me and totally logical to blame that on someone else interpreting it that way. Sound all around.
  5. I agree, but my statement is that if we don’t win next weekend I do not believe we have the capability to pull out enough quality wins in conference to make it happen. We are who we are. And I desperately hope I’m wrong.
  6. Just stop man. It’s a 20 point game where they are playing smarter and harder than we are. The only thing more embarrassing than this effort is trying to continually blame the refs.
  7. Next weekend is our chance to make the tournament. Pretty sad.
  8. Embarrassing effort and deserved result. We look completely lost and unwilling to fight back.
  9. Gutless. Folding like a lawn chair. Not an ounce of pride. Take the complaints about the refs and toss them in the bin.
  10. Obviously the 3 losses being OSU, Michigan, and Purdue after that speech. We never stood a chance after those words, Coach!!
  11. Like he said, “Changing the way people think.”
  12. I feel like he has a little hesitation at the top of his jump shot. It drives me crazy when I see that and then the shot be so far off. Anyone know if he’s always done that, even in high school?
  13. I loved the short and sweet "changing the way people think" answer. No follow up. No hesitation. Spot on. Need a contractor real quick though. I've ran through 2 walls already and one might be load bearing.
  14. To expand on this, for anyone worried about where his focus will be, he said 90% Indiana, he'll be at the bowl game but not much involved in the preparation for it. Great to hear.
  15. Oh me neither. Especially on the sidelines. But on occasions where you have to wear one, I honestly have no idea why, but a baggy suit just irks me. Make it fit!
  16. That was fantastic. "I figured I better make the drive up here to Indy since we'll be playing in this game next year." I nearly ran through a wall myself!
  17. Alright, b-town locals. We have a serious situation on our hands. We gotta get Coach Cig into a tailor ASAP.
  18. I have to think it’s best they just keep X out and get him another full week of recovery. If he plays and his ankle/foot isn’t 100%, he’ll be no good guarding Young anyway and have a high risk of making the injury worse.
  19. One of the more, if not the most, impressive offer lists on our roster. Yet he never saw the field. Odd.
  20. Not to get ahead of ourselves but when we send play calls in from the sidelines will they be called Cig-nals? I have nothing on my calendar today, everybody. I’m so sorry.
  21. On the plus side....he's 62 :-). If he takes another job, he probably isn't going anywhere else after that. Saban is 72. If we could get a coach that could build this program and have continuity for 10 years or more (or, hell, even just 8 years), sign me up. A young guy like Candle could be our James Franklin, which would be awesome for 3 years then he bolts elsewhere.
