All of these ranked teams losing on the road makes me feel much better about la…..ahhhh f&$# I can’t do it. I tried but nope, it doesn’t make it better. Last night was so bad. Can’t square that one in any way.

We're staring at a 3 game stretch of Purdue, @Wisconsin and @ILL after this week. It's not a must win game, but we'd do ourselves a huge favor to go into that stretch on a 3 game winning streak.

I put my bet in on the Buckeyes and sold all my tickets to this game (only contribution I can make to filling the Hall from here). I’ve done my part.

We don’t make our home games easy. I don’t care who we play on the road, the only certain thing is that it is going to be difficult for this team.

The opportunities are certainly there. I can’t shake the thought that we had to have that Kansas game. I just don’t see this team being capable of building a resume in conference (as you say, right the ship). Wednesday’s game, though only one, only strengthened that thought. I’ve not yet been able to see a team that will gel and get hot instead of a team that just isn’t very good but has the ability to get up for some big home games, which all teams can do.

Add an interesting layer to this. Next Monday, either Michael Penix or Jack Tuttle is going to win a National Championship.

Ahh…good to know. The last 12 or so minutes of the game was a very distracted watch for me so I didn’t catch that.

He was on fire early, and then sat most of the game. 4 second half minutes. Hard to say it was defense since no one played defense. To me, it just served up recruiting material to other teams….look at the start Mgbako had to this game and then he rode the pine most of the rest of the game. How are you gonna get to the next level like that?
