  1. Past hour
  2. I think it’s still tbd and let’s be honest it’s what what a judge decides
  3. Her solo albums are tons better than the Lone Justice albums IMO.
  4. Recruiting has always been a bit of a crap shoot. I’m not absolving the staff of anything in that scenario but it could certainly be a case of bad luck too. Great HoF coaches often have as many recruiting misses as they do successes.
  5. I disagree that our bench wasn’t the issue last year. They were awful and we got nothing from them. That’s often when teams were able to press their advantage. Our starters more or less held their own outside of Michigan and Illinois—two FF teams. The difference this year should be that the talent on our starting 5 allows us to build up leads and give the bench a cushion. Bench and depth are an issue but that’s largely a factor of starting over from zero again. In his first interview Carr talked about building depth through recruiting. Our 3 guys this year plus Sisley should contribute to that and we’ll start to see real depth next year.
  6. Today
  7. I believe they said that the 5th year would not retroactively apply to anyone already in college. Only to incoming freshmen.
  8. They both look to be desperate.
  9. Yep, who knows these days until they get on campus. Sales might sincerely want to come to IU but what happens if, during his other visits, he is offered an unusually large bag$$$$ from Bama, OSU or Miami? That being said….the positive update is certainly more intriguing than hearing we did not make his final four. Who knows what will happen, we shall see.
  10. The comment I was replying to was talking about being unlucky if all 3 did not get to what are basically Sisley freshman year levels of production. We weren't talking about Wagler levels of production. I stand by my statement that if none can achieve that, it is a failure of coaching rather than a matter of luck. But if none turn out to be the next Wagler, I guess I would agree with unlucky. I don't expect to be lucky.
  11. I'd laugh but then I'd also agree lol
  12. Again agree we're thin at point, but Lindsay wouldn't be playing 38 min at point if Burton were to go down, likely would be shared on ball responsibility with Moody (who has some on ball experience) and probably Harris or Mustaf (not ideal for sure, but don't see Monden playing any real time)
  13. Agree with you 100%. Until he arrives on campus, I won't put much stock in any commitment regardless of where he commits to. I think he will continue to court teams up until he signs.
  14. There’s an MTV doc from a long time ago out there about Lone Justice and basically the issues were: 1) the record label kept trying to drive them in a popish direction and the band rebelled hard. 2) They were a manufactured band and didn’t get along personally at all. 3) Maria was both really young and a little bit crazy and struggled with everything but the music. It’s a shame, they could have been great.
  15. Not sure I agree. It’s a huge jump for freshman in general. Relying on players ranked outside the top 25-50 is a wildcard. Getting them on campus and slowly adjusted the game is what id expect as Normal at a program trying to compete and win at the top. Where I do agree, is there are Fragers, and Waglers out there that can be good as a freshman and not highly ranked. Indiana has historically been awful at identifying these types of players. Really, really hoping for this to change.
  16. I have No idea at all. Just seems like LSU and UK will throw major offers to him.
  17. AH1971 and I see roster building much the same. Winning at the top level and expecting mid level recruits being ready to contribute as freshman aren’t things that generally fit well together. Although Moody being ready won’t surprise me. 1 more semi star and 1 solid bench piece and you’ve got yourself a team that can win a championship.
  18. I suppose UCLA is likely out of the question?
  19. As cool as this is, it won’t be over until it’s over. Makes getting excited for football recruits a challenge. (For me)
  20. Baylor’s Yessoufou likely portaling. He’ll garner significant money somewhere. LSU and UK the big spenders left? UNC? Someone will pay him well.
  21. reading some more on Sales... they actually let him play both ways last season, so he isn't a p*** ---- 56 tackles in 10 games. Made the state in the 100 (10.81), 2nd in the state in the 200 (and actually broke the state record in the pre lims), was part of the 4x1 team that won the state (as was Davion Chandler), Top 12 in the long jump, as well. Won the long jump at the MIC conference track meet Lists himself at 6'5 205 now
  22. Sometime in July, he's still got officials to Bama, OSU, and Miami. I think Wiltfong put ~60% confidence on this prediction. So, we've got a ways to go, but we've got a decent shot here...
  23. oh boy wait wait... do we have an announcement date on MS yet?
  24. Who stated we don't have holes? You make s*** up to argue lol No one has misrepresented your viewpoint. It was just.... silly the entire time.
  25. It'd be nice for our 6th and 7th guys to be more proven than 10mpg each. It'd be nice to have a back up 5 as 8th or 9th man. Moody as 8th or 9th and Karvala as 10th would be fine with me. Overall the staff deserves kudos for pulling a top portal haul. That doesn't mean we have no holes on the roster or are ensured any type of success. But why bother trying to understand what others are saying when you can just misrepresent their point of view and argue with yourself? Lol
