The size/strength, the shooting touch, the shot blocking, all the shooting %'s. His numbers are pretty similar to Mara's at Michigan. I think if he's an offensive hub as opposed to the 5th option on a guard-dominated, perimeter-oriented team he would increase those numbers.

I’d be fine shuttering the basketball program altogether to give Cig another $15 million or however much it’d be. Firing Devries won’t do any good because the next guy won’t be any better. We’ll see what Devries cooks up in this portal. This past season was pretty predictable once we saw last year’s roster come together. We should have a good sense of what next season/his tenure outlook looks next in the next month.

6'10, very, good interior (2.2 blks/game) defender who can step out and shoot the 3 and is strong and well built? Yes. For Indiana in the B10? Double yes. Took a huge leap from freshman to sophomore year. In line for another leap this year. Was a key part in a Nate Oats system that is as run and gun as it gets so I am not too worried about his athleticism and him staying in shape. As soon as I saw he entered, I thought, man that's the guy I want IU to get. (This was before I knew we were linked at all to him)

Yes. BTW, the player he describes — 6’10”, capable 3 point shooter, runs funny is the EXACT description of Myles Turner when he was at Texas. i’m not sure why either would be called ‘non athletic’ — both are excellent rim protectors.
