  1. Past hour
  2. Definitely has recruiting chops. Suppose it would depend on what jobs open up next cycle but I think in the current environment Miami is probably a pretty good place to be. Place sells itself, has a ton of money, and conveniently located to some great talent. Very curious to watch and see how Lucas sets Dorn up for success (or not) next year. Interesting point on the Harris comparison for sure.
  3. I think Dorn will be solid. I think Dorn vs Harris will be an interesting comparison this season. They’ve got a nice roster in Miami. Will be interesting if Lucas pops for a bigger Job next cycle. Especially if he has another good season. I think he has the potential to be an elite recruiter.
  4. Surprised a bit. Better landing spot than I anticipated for him. He will probably do pretty well in that role on that team IMO.
  5. He was up and down. I thought he was going to stay and that would be good for depth, but he struggled a lot in the second half of the season to score
  6. Final ESPN '26 recruiting class rankings
  7. Nick Dorn to Miami. He’s the one i would have liked to keep. Not fretting it, but Miami is doing some nice work. This one was be curious to watch.
  8. Today
  9. The Daily Hoosier - Indiana's Lamar Wilkerson/Tucker DeVries got G League Combine invites. A couple players each year parlay this into an NBA Combine invite later in the week.
  10. While I mostly agree, the part that brings me a lot of optimism is that we won 18 games with a pretty terrible roster last year, upgrades across the board at each position besides Lamar. Make the tournament and win a game or two.
  11. If we could have signed both the San Fran bigs…. Wang Fuchs….
  12. Evan Miya on the Hysterics and his take on the roster. Pretty good summary. His metrics don’t love Burton. Roster offensively limited. Lack of returning minutes. Didn’t get into the freshman at all. I personally think and have stated that’s where our roster building is flawed. We’ve got 2 that I have zero expectations for. And right now those guys are 9 and 10 on the roster. I feel those guys should be our 12-13. This in a nutshell sums up my roster concerns. I think the top end is strong in 3 of the 5 spots with some decent hope in the other starting spots. What’s not calculated into this, guy 9-13 might outplay and win job from 1-8. But if spots 11-13 are literal placeholders, no real inside completion is ever happening. Flawed model.
  13. They got a good one with Nowakowski
  14. If we can watch preseason games on TV that would be excellent.
  15. And his agency and representation is awful imo. The Kentucky saga and how that was handled was botched. Don’t like that group much.
  16. This sounds great! Heard this too.
  17. DAMN YOU OLD FART! ;) On behalf of the moderators (that's you OF), I was hoping that this would stay under wraps until, oh, about the 12th of never, to prevent political commentary Tomfoolery and the like. So in advance; a reminder that: While most have firmly held political opinions, this board is not the place for them. Even with an IUFB visit to the White House, that policy will be strictly enforced. Why is this our rule? Because: If we open that Pandora's Box it is very hard to close it or moderate it even-handedly, Political conversations on a message board usually go downhill even if they start out well-intentioned, And finally (and most importantly) because generally, people enjoy that this is a politics-free internet space. So here are examples of what will and won't be allowed: YES: "Looking at the IUFB White House video and saw that Cignetti brought his third cousin's grandma's nephew with him. Heard that kid can really punt a football and has committed to NW Eastern Michigan Tech. See link for that young fella's recruiting profile." NO: "Looks to me like XXX Player loves/hates/is ignoring/is playing bocce ball with XXX Politician. I find that to be lovable/hate-able/worthy of being bludgeoned with a bocce ball."
  18. Thanks for filling in, I was just going off what was left on the ESPN portal tracker. Hope we get someone, somewhere, somehow..
