As it stands before the season even gets rolling, it's reasonable to suspect those four guys (Yigi, AS, Burton & Lindsey) to be on the floor together quite a bit. Again as of now looking in it feels a little suspect we don't have more proven depth at the 4/5 and 1. But....I assume this staff has a plan to work around the potential weakness within this roster build. Of course the big question is will they be able to compensate and/or will we be proven wrong about a perceived lack of depth? Again, hoping they can pull a rabbit out the hat with the last couple of scholarships.

Last night there was an event in Carmel with both Cig and DDV. During that event DDV mentioned that the upcoming trip to Peru allows for an additional 6 weeks of practice and not the traditional 10-days. International players can't play in the event, but they can practice with the team, make the trip and participate in all of the other activities involved with the trip. I feel like we really needed another wing and definitely still need another playable big. We could go from shooting 50-3pt attempts per game to 10-15 attempts. im not as high on this years team as everyone else may be. But we’ll see

We led 5-0 after 2 and didn't let this one slip away winning with a final score of 10-4. Neubeck started and pitched 6 innings giving up just 5 hits and a single run. But he wore out in the 7th and Vogel and Yarberry closed it out. We had 12 hits. Denny went 3-5. Ten Oever, Fry and Moore each had 2 hits. Ten Oever had 4 RBI.

Ah. Darn. Well at least the tourney should be better.

Games will still run through November in the fall and start back.in February so we are atill gonna freeze our ***** off. But I agree it will be better

My angle: I like going to games, and it always gets too darn cold when the tourney roles around. This should fix that problem. Which is nice.

Building blocks are fine and dandy but with..,(in the neighborhood of 20mil) for roster revenue, I’d say a lot of people want to win now. We are close no doubt, but you can’t fumble the ball at the 1 yard line.

Our starters got absolutely waxed by NW in the 2nd half the last time we played them. Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like we got off to quite a few bad starts last year. I’d love to see some +/- numbers from our starters.

Our roster build is insane. so our best lineup is probably starting Yigi and AS together. But if we do or want to, we have Sisley that can come in as an undersized 4 and no 5 that will be ready to play at this level. Again, our best lineup likely starts Burton, and Lindsay but we don’t have a 1 to come in with any proven worth if those 2 start. This is why I need a job on the staff. And this is why don’t build a roster with 3 unproven freshman and 3 practice guys who can’t contribute. Wild.
