  1. Past hour
  2. Maria McKee. Singing live. She was 15 years old. Good lord what a talent:
  3. ....I took my AP Studio Art students on our annual trip to the IU Art Museum/ Fine Arts building. One the big things I always look forward to is our reservations at Buffalouie's for lunch. I walked up to order the Mendoza Bros. Burger, after looking on their online menu, he said they no longer server that burger. He went on to tell me Fernando's new agent came in the restaurant and had them take it off the menu because he's not with IU anymore.....
  4. Purdue football?!!? Yeesh; bad job by the people that prepared the briefing notes.
  5. Twitter is flooded with IU stuff at the WH. Love to see it
  6. Bad news for Kentucky. Malachi Moreno measured at 6'11 1/4 with a 9'3.5" standing reach without shoes. If that puts him in the first round they are playing Franck Kepnang 30+ mpg.
  7. The biggest tragedy of this White House trip was Trump referring to Purdue as a good team. Come on Mr. President.
  8. And Braden Smith comes in at a height of 5'10 1/4". The height inflation by cbb teams is quite impressive.
  9. Today
  10. Don’t know if I can anonymously link it, but fantastic pictures and videos from Fernando and Alberto visiting their old middle school in Miami this week. The looks on the kids faces during the videos are so good:
  11. No but Notre Dame was proactive and turned down their invitation to come show off their preseason banner
  12. I am very proud of our National Football Champions Indiana University. As the runner up...did Miami have to go to the White House twice this year? Happy Twilight Zone Day!
  13. Thats the problem with fiction. It has to be believable
  14. Underrated candidate for best post ever.
  15. Yesterday
  16. The Simpsons may have predicted the first part of that headline but not the second haha.
  17. Hope springs eternal in my Hoosier heart! There is also absolutely a chance that he is Devonte Green reincarnated as our full-time point guard. Yikes!
  18. 1. Lets win 24+ games and at least 1 tournament game. That will mean DD can pull off the two big line-up. 2. Retain 8 players. One being either Sherrell or Yigitoglu. 3. Add two more s player to the 27 high school group. One a big 4. Be in a position to land the two best players at positions of need when the portal opens. Already have them locked up. That's how I see this playing put. Unless we have Momcilovic on the team them that will change my expectations.
  19. Maybe I’ll have to relisten but I thought he specifically said his move is to get into the midrange, look for a shot and if it isn’t there look to pass. And that’s a pretty good self assessment! Lol.. Don’t get me wrong, I like Burton. He sounded like a solid kid in the interview too. I think he’ll do a ton a great things for us. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him put career assist numbers with Sherrell and Yigi rim-running. Not sure if he’ll ever look like FVV tho…
  20. About 40 players from the championship team attended.
  21. For anyone who cares about such things Jonathan Givony’s Twitter feed is the go to spot for NBA Combine measurements. Wildest thing so far is Aday Mara measuring with a 9’9” standing reach barefoot. Absolutely nuts.
  22. Implied (if not outright stated) in the interview was that Burton needs to score less and faciliate better than he has with this IU team.
  23. He wasn’t even good enough to start for Notre Dame a team that almost made the CFP. Shame he had to settle for going 16-0 and being the offensive player of the game of the Rose Bowl. Good thing Notre Dame didn’t settle for him
  24. I can’t really see that comp. Two different style players. VanVleet was/is a strong often physical defender who was a pass-1st floor general type. I think Burton is a smaller, quicker scoring type PG who is also a solid passer and defender. If he’s trying to be more like FVV then that’s great but I can’t personally say I’d expect to get a FVV type player with Burton.
  25. Scope Scouting: Earned All-Session I First Team honors at 17U 3SSB Session I. Parker covered a lot of ground at 6’3, protected the paint, and ran the floor hard in transition. She also showed the ability to stretch the floor and score in different ways. 13.8 PPG | 3.3 REB | 51.5% TS
