Last season, Adams averaged 13 points and better than 10 rebounds per game, which led to a No. 13 ranking in the preseason azcentral sports Top 50 players ranking. While it would be nice for Adams to achieve those numbers again, he isn’t focused on getting “his.”

 

“He’s not only our best player, but our best teammate,” McEvoy said. “He cares very much about everyone on this team.”

 

Adams is succeeding off the court as well. He is going to finish the semester with all B’s and has put recruiting talk to the side, so he can focus on his season and his education.

This kid actually excites me because he plays defense and runs the court.  We really don't need another scorer but this guy seems to be an energy guy, and man what a shot blocker.  His timing is great and he doesn't give up on plays, and does he have a freakish wing span or something? He swats a lot of shots.
