So, lessons learned #1- Don't try and work on your bike after a few beers....urg....more than a few. Last night, broke my oil pan screw. duh!

Here are a few pics of my 1994 Kawasaki Ninja EX500.  Perfect starter bike IMO.  Enough power to scare you but not enough to knock you on your ass.  Had a comfortable riding position and maintained a semi-sportbike look with the front fairing.  I adjusted the sprockets for more acceleration (front and back sprocket) and did a couple other little mods.  The Sarachu exhaust was a sick purchase.  The sound on that thing was perfect.

At the top of my list of new bikes is the BMW F 800 GT.  It's a touring bike.  Similar to the Ninja, sits upright but has a nice sport look.  It also comes with the ability to add hardcases on the sides.

I tend to prefer Italian made bikes (MV Agusta, Ducati, Aprilia) but I do like the looks of those.  I like the looks of Triumph Bonnevilles as well.

Only 300cc so it's a true beginner bike, but I kind of like the looks of the BMW G310R as well.

My baby. Sold her about a year ago. Harley Davidson 883 Iron Edition. All matte everything. Was a pain to keep the paint from rusting, but an amazing looking bike.

Not fan of the handlebars on it, but it's sick aside from that.  I like those more than ape hangers, but that's also an impossibly low standard.

Haha yeah it was meant to be more like a cafe racer. Hurt my back after awhile though!
