I use chrome at work and have had no probs....weird.

Probably because you do not have any of the privacy settings turned on!

The new site does not work well with any kinds of privacy settings.  At least that is my take.  Using Chrome, Firefox, or safari, quite frankly it is annoying to me.  Not annoying yet, to stop using it, however. :)

What exactly do you mean by this? I have my chrome privacy settings on an haven't had any issues. I want to try and fix whatever is bothering you as it is probably bothering others as well

The frustrating thing are the notification pop ups.  Every time I visit a page, or refresh a page.  I get a pop up that says btownbanners.com wants to:   Show notifications    and there is a box to block or allow.

I admit I am a little anal about tracking cookies, etc..  and have my browsers set fairly strict in regards to remembering cookies, allowing cookies, etc..  but something has changed with 2.0 that has changed it.   I used to simply get that pop up message the first time I would log into the site.  But once I said bock, I would never see the pop up again until I logged back in.

Now I get that pop up every single page, and I cannot do anything until I click pop-up.  In my account I have Browser notifications NOT enabled, but the only way to make the pop up go away is to enable browser notifications.

When I try to go to the main basketball forum page, I get this :
Fatal error: Class 'IPS\Dispatcher\Front' not found in /home/btownban/public_html/index.php on line 13

HELP!!   Someone PM me and tell me how to rid myself of this!   I got HERE by clicking on that active thread icon on the right side of the main page, but cannot access the other threads.  I can see Football, Recruiting, etc.  Not Basketball.  Help me!!

Okay I'll dig in a little more this evening. Have you tried just accepting the notifications prompt? Then if you have them off in your settings I would guess you'd be okay?

Is this still happening?

I have tried accepting them, but it still shows up on every page, and I have to click accept or block each time the page refreshes.

I don't mind the new look, but there is something I don't like.

Under "recently discussed forum topics" if I click on a thread it just takes me to the very last post of the thread where before it would take me to the last unread post.  I have to actually click on the tab for "unread content" to go to the last unread post.  It's minor, but it's two steps where it used to just be one.

Look to the right and click on the unread posts link.  It brings up anything you haven't read, and, by clicking it, at least for me, it takes me to the first unread post in each topic.  Hope that helps!

Also, if you do that, don't click on the title of the thread, but, next to it, the dot, or if you've posted in the thread, the star, and it should take you to the first unread post.

Yeah, I know that link is there for "unread content" and I know to click on the dot; I even mentioned it in my post.  It's an extra, and frankly unnecessary, step that didn't exist before.

Gotcha!  See that now.  Guess my brain didn't realize what you typed!  My bad!

Early on I commented that I was being taken to the first post at the top of the last page of a thread vs. to the last unread post.  That is no longer happening.  The only think I still notice that's different is I don't have any post numbers.  Not a complaint; merely an observation.  Other than that, all is good as far as I'm concerned.

It would still be cool to go to first unread post instead of last post, but more importantly, can we no longer set the number of comments to view for each thread page?

Agreed on going to the first unread post.  Clicking the unread content link is an unnecessary step.
