You just got me so excited for Indy 500. I know Keet will agree.

The track is already taking shape in the streets of St Petersburg. I've driven it a few times already in the last week...it's so hard not to squeal the tires around a turn :)

I've always wondered how the setup for street courses goes. That's pretty cool.

The fencing is up on the outsides of all the streets with the exception of intersections. About 25% of the total track is closed to the public...the rest is busy downtown streets that can't be closed off yet. Just fencing up separating street from sidewalks.

I remember when they raced in downtown Denver, maybe 10 yrs ago. My office was on the 14th floor about 3 blocks from the Pepsi Center. It was frigging awesome.
