Report: IU vs UK series may return by next season

Recommended Posts

. i think it's a massive disgrace to move any college basketball rivalry game, especially one of this prestige, away from the home courts. neutral sites are for tournaments. these border-sharing bluebloods battling nailbiters on the hall and rupp's iconic courts in front of a student and fan crowd so hyped that it's nearly blowing the lid off these historic venues is what makes the iu-uk rivalry stand out from so many. .

You must have forgotten how insane these games were. Half red, half blue. It was pretty damn cool atmosphere.

my top 5 all time games vs UK...

#1. Wat Shot

#2. Damon Bailey vs #1 and winning 1994

#3. Crawford vs Crawford in 2007

#4. 1990 win at Rupp...25 point win and some kind of record...at that point

#5. 1975 loss...that loss kept us from going 64-0 in 1974 thru 1976

We hate them and they don't care about us.

The impression I got from rupp rafters is that they hate us WAY more than we hate them. The rhetoric I heard was that they are too good to play us and we don't deserve the game.

That's where you'd be wrong. I can assure you, they don't hate us anywhere near as much as I loathe them.
