a lot of our non-conference schedule as tournament teams. I would like to see that stat with the other teams. Who played the most teams that are tournament teams? That would be true strength of schedule.

We were all upset about the EWU loss  and rightly so. But who thought they'd be a tourney team at the time?

From everything I heard before we played them this year, they were predicted to compete to win their conference and go to the tournament this year.

I always looked at that loss as a wash. They were a tournament team last yrand we were not, plus the match up was horrible for us ...so I gave the benefit of the doubt on that game, but only that game.

Eastern Washington was 15-16 (10-10 in conference) and didn't even qualify for their own conference tournament last year so they were definitely not in the Big Dance last year.

Agreed that is was a terrible matchup though. Their big men are great. I'd still take Venky Jois on this team right now

I thought that too but I watched their conference championship game and their announcers said they were projected to finish 8th in the conference. They may not have known what they were talking about though, most don't. That Harvey kid on their team is border line NBA talent.

Not to be Debbie Downer here but I think I saw on ESPN that we had the most losses vs tourney teams.

Part of that is not being good. Part of that is playing so many tourney teams. We only lost to one team not in tourney. So really only one bad loss. Not many teams can tout that.

They were the best of a low major conference. It's not like they received an at-large bid. IU basketball is in a bad place when a loss to EWU is a wash and EWU is a terrible match up for the Hoosiers.
