Thanks!

Another stone was Marco Killingsworth---what was his height compared to Latham?

6'8, 268. Both would look tall and lean next to Latham.

Here is his ESPN basketball page. Four stars? Wow.

Did anyone post Latham's basketball highlights? I don't have to tell you which one he was, he was only 20 lbs lighter in those days.

Thanks Martin---He's a HOSSCAT----didn't realize he was a 4 star recruit--that shows he has skill and talent.

And can you imagine how much stronger he is now after being in the football program?

So is this IUBBall possibility just a twitter rumor------ or is anyone hearing if real interest exists?

Yeah, after doing a little research I would love for him to give us a little time. How do you even guard a kid that size? If he has any amount of speed then he'd be insanely good.

May not apply to Latham exactly---but I do wish we were reading/hearing about Crean and the staff beating the bushes and looking under all rocks for Bigs. I would at least feel better knowing there was hope.

It reminds me of the song that says: "I'm all about the bass----about the bass---no treble".

Crean says: "I'm all about the wings---about the wings----no centers"!

(Yes---this old schoolers has 2 teenagers in the house!)

And as I teenager I have to say. Please stop good lord that was awful. Never do that again haha :)

The game may be too fast for him....

No, only for Holt.
JK by the way, I think it would be tough for him to provide valuable minutes. This is not a good solution. Crean has 13 scholarships to find 8 or 9 able bodies. Do your job Crean, and then we wouldn't be lifting up Football rocks for capable players. Good grief Charlie Brown.

I think he is too important to the football team at this point. An injury would really hurt them and they do not need any additional hurdles.

He has also been playing football and going all out for several months. There is a reason the football team has an offseason and that is to let the body heal and get ready for next season.

Yeah, but I mean, if you get to choose between being part of IU Football or IU Basketball, which do you choose?

At least you'd get to see what it's like to play a game with people watching you. Maybe even to win a conference game.

Sure if college was the end of the line but if Darius stays injury free and keeps progressing he will be earning an NFL paycheck some day.

somebody pointed that out to me yesterday...

I didn't know Quinn played football...

he certainly would be the poster child for a dual sport athlete at IU!

He led the football team in INT's and IIRC he was backup running back to Courtney Snyder at times.  So, starting point guard and backup running back at a big time school.  That's just badass!
