Ahh yes, the golden years of 1946-48 under John Wooden.

That was a classic response.  I tip my hat in your honor.

Thank you kindly, good sir.  I wonder if he used the rolled up program back then.

I saw St Johns a few times last year and the only impression I recall was Sima seemed like an adequate player, i.e. not much of an impression.  IU doesn't have a need for an adequate player unless he's a walk-on to be a body in practice.

If he can be an adequate player as a backup 5 that plays good defense, rebounds, can run the floor, and hit bunnies then he can be valuable at IU. We don't need a stud C, although it'd be nice. We need a serviceable backup at the 5, not a tall, skinny stretch 4 frosh playing the 5 or an undersized junior or frosh wing playing the 5.

What happened with Luke? Heard everything from homesick to Troy Williams drove him out. Anyone know?

Troy was a big reason at the time, but homesick played a role as much as Troy. The environment that year was not a good one for Luke. Can't blame him. Luckily it is no longer like that and is in the past.

Under 12 time out, Wiscy up 9 on Marquette.

Marquette can do nothing right.  Wisky's Ethan Happ is one bad hombre.  I'm afraid He's  going to work Bryant.
