Great post DocLibby---you know better than us--- but it sure seems looking at their academic performance and social media accounts that we have a group of basically good and hard working young men. They do continue to make some poor choices. In other words--I am of the opinion that Crean has not lost control of the team and we can still get this ship righted! It doesn't appear to me to be a bad culture or chemistry thing like we have seen in the past.

Now that is a positive attitude. Congrats. But.....

Culture is HORRIBLE!

Chemistry is much improved.

The team likes Crean, but doesn't respect Crean. Can he earn it back? I do believe in miracles, so we'll see.

Players need to be disciplined---plain and simple.  I was involved with that process in the Knight era----similar things happened----and Knight responded.  They either got it corrected or moved on to other programs---and that included alcohol and drugs and injuries, etc. Don't act like this has never happened at IU----the public circumstances/social media/getting caught ---have just made this more public than usual or in the past.

 

Crean has to come out strong on this to keep from losing the confidence of us old school fans!
