Royster led Newark to its first league title in more than 20 years, its first district title in 15 years and its first regional title in history. The Wildcats play West Chester Lakota West at 8 p.m. Friday at Ohio State's Value City Arena in a state semifinal.

 

The 6-foot-2 senior forward, who has signed a letter of intent to play next season at Indiana University, is averaging 18.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. She is shooting an impressive 63 percent from the field and 69 percent from the foul line.
