Jonah Bolden ruled eligible @ UCLA

Recommended Posts

A good miss for us....

Sources told ESPN the issue stems from Bolden leaving Australia after his senior campaign had already began to attend Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. Bolden left Findlay in December and finished at Brewster Academy.

My question to the NCAA is why it takes an entire summer in to Autumn to give these rulings. The GMM ruling came around this time or later too. How long does it take? They could have let UCLA know about this in a week of getting the transcripts.

Good point, but sounds like this rule is clear cut. This was money in the bank for the NCAA back when he committed.

when hanner and peter were freshman and got 9 games did not a ucls player win his appeal or am I crazy just something I think I remember. It was Shabaz I think

Yup, even though Shabazz has a few grand worth of impermissible benefits he only had a 3 game suspension.

Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

Tough times for Stevie.

Former CSU point guard Jon Octeus has been denied admission to UCLA, as grades prevented him from getting into graduate school, sources close to the situation told the Coloradoan.

Octeus had planned to transfer to UCLA for his final season of NCAA eligibility this season and was expected to be the Bruins' starting point guard.
