 I don't want to imply that Thon is a bad kid because I know nothing about him but he's being handled by his coach and he seems to be of the Brandon Bender type,AKA Baby WWW.

I was looking through the crystal ball picks and ran across a strange Thon Maker development. The last 2 crystal balls (September 4) came in for Missouri.  Huh?????

 

One was Jerry Meyer who flipped from IU to Missouri.

 

The other was a Duke Insider who picked Missouri.

 

Anybody have any clue what is going on with this bizarre recruitment?  Why Mizzu?

Looking back at our posts--and giving credit where credit is due--Wayne Hoosier caught one of the crystal balls to Mizzu. Why 2 crystal ball flips to Mizzu on the same day when all the powers are in on him?  And right around the time he decided to go to Canada.

Yeah, that was an odd development. I don't know scoop but suspect someone from MIzzou is associated to the new school. Thon's recruitment will be an odd one. Not sure we have any foothold anymore. Not sure what gave us the edge in the first place. Worth an eye as I fully expect him to be a 15 commit unless things are already too dirty and he is forced into the Mudiay route.

Mizzou hired the old coach of Huntington Prep, Rob Fulford. He has connections everywhere, and coached Andrew Wiggins. My guess is that there is a connection between Thon's handler and Fulford. I also think it'd be easier to hide any potential NCAA violations at a school like Mizzou for a year than at a program like IU or KU which is constantly under a microscope. Just my opinions, no sources to support this.

    Probably right on that.Don't know anything about this staff at Mizzo but Haith was dirty.Maybe some residual?

 I dont know how all this stuff stays hidden.You would think it would leak through a disgruntled kid or parent but it just goes on and on.

 I wonder if the NCAA really even cares as long as they are getting theirs.

I am starting to doubt Thon ever goes to college.  He may play professionally somewhere before NBA.

 

Thon is starting to look like he has more baggage than a US Airlines flight full of beauty queens bound for China!

 

Instead---I'll take TJ Leaf with his small carry-on bag with nothing but a basketball in it!
