more impact to the team than scoring. Both putting up 17 ppg. Russell dominates ball and game. Better defender, more assists, and (his) teams best player. Very close contest between these 2 with Trimble following closely behind. JB is still light years away from where we need him on D. Credit DOES go to JB for recently crashing the boards.

I like that JBJ is working hard to expand his game----rebounding has improved----and he needs to get the D better.

 

I think it will be a close race between Russell and JBJ all year!

I think Russell is getting all the attention too because OSU is one of the teams that ESPN loves to pump up. JBJ is a better scorer and a great rebounder plus I think his D is underrated.

so who do u think is better overall? Have u watched Russell play? Both are great. It's no slight to either. If we can get 2 or 3 years of JB I am ecstatic. It looks like Russell is looking to be a 1 n Done.

nope, very limited minutes for a top 30 guy. That's status quo at Ohio State though. It's where athletes and talent goes to ride the pine.
