New England Revolution midfielder Lee Nguyen and forward Juan Agudelo have been called in to the U.S. National Team ahead of the friendly against Mexico on Wednesday night at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Agudelo and Nguyen are two of 22 players that were named to the squad by U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

 

Nguyen has been capped six times by the U.S. National Team, including twice this year, having come on as a second-half substitute against Chile and Panama in January and February respectively. He has appeared in three of the last six games that the U.S. has played dating back to November 2014 after having not been capped since 2007.

 

Wednesday’s friendly between the United States and Mexico can be seen nationally on FOX Sports 1, UniMas and Univision Deportes Network with kickoff scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.

I haven't watched any games this year so no clue here. Still half a season left to kick it in gear.

I've only watched a few of their matches.  One of the announcers was criticizing him for his lack of a production.  I believe it's a combination of being marked more in the attacking third and struggling a bit this year.
