This was from earlier this morning. We have really been on this kid this eval period and I think the last one. Tommy like wingy. Where's my Clarke offer coach?

Noah Vonleh is at Adidas64. Please for the sake of God, NO more negative recruiting! You are exactly where you want to be, and Indiana was a good vehicle to get you there.

Wouldn't that be like that McCants kid from UNC keeping his mouth shut? That's all good though since it doesn't involve IU right? Vonleh hasn't said anything that we haven't witnessed on TV. I'm fair, but firm.

Good point CCG. But from a personal perspective, Vonleh improved individually and his draft stock constantly rose. I'd say things worked out well.

Yes we missed the tourney but we lost tremendous pieces from the previous year.

We just weren't quite ready to succeed due to immaturity and chemistry issues.

IDK. I'd say, give both accounts because we did some great thing for Noah.

I know many think he would have been drafted no matter what.

Well, how about Isaiah Austin from Baylor or James Michael McAdoo? They came in equal or higher rated out of HS and never ended up nearly where Vonleh did. Those are just a few examples but there are plenty more.

I personally would have liked to see Crean loosen the leash on Noah too but.....

After one Mediocre college year he was a lottery pick making Millions. Crean markets his players beautifully, and this helps in the draft. He strengthens them and tells you about it over and over. He does video before and after seasons. He does so much to prepare them for the NBA!

Vonleh should recognize the good that IU did too.

C.... Proof is in the pudding. We need something good on the recruiting front so badly. Those of us that follow these things so closely are beyond frustrated. I don't know what to say. I don't get paid millions to figure it out either.

IU needs to minimally be a tournament team annually. Starts with recruiting and Crean knows this more than anyone. Chuck Martin should at least set us up with a couple. The whole delayed hiring trick has not seemed to pay dividends.

Anyway. We needs some recruits and good results on the court soon or Kabluooooey. Boom goes the dynamite.

I'm sure we'll see some positive movement on the recruiting front, soon.

Sadly, I'm not so sure. Recent trend. Start off offering 5 stars, then 4 stars, then 3 stars, then offers start rolling in for the next unknown, unranked superstar playing at your local YMCA. We are getting close to making YMCA recruiting trips.

Maybe we've received news unlike the glaring misread on Spalding. All recent CB action is on Louisville for Mitchell. Not so sure on Dozier?

I don't know. It's certainly not the full-court press. When I said IU isn't there that wasn't meant to interpret that simple tweet lol. I did confirm with someone at the event that IU isn't there. I'd to be there for both, maybe Dozier even more. He grew up a random IU fan, fwiw. The program has some allure to him that I feel like the staff could work with but what do I know

They've literally had their entire coaching staff at his games a couple times and haven't missed a game of his.

Did not know that about Dozier.
