So you're rquating a difficult business decision of a coach who's reputation is shot in the cbb world, who has had 4 terrible seasons out of six, staring at another one, and should be relieved of his duties to coach elsewhere.....to putting down a petfectly healthy dog.:(

And just what are your objections to this thread? I'm assuming your stance is Crean gets a year to fix the program.....the program that is 100% his.

NCAA bid and getting drubbed in round one? Is that fixing it in year seven?

Or maybe my question should be what would it take to make you feel that Crean is just not the man for the job? I get it, you love him. He makes 3 million a year, says it's Indiana and you love him.

Meanwhile, Pitino, Calipari, Matta, Beilein, Izzo are all cleaning his clock on the court and in revruiting. And I do support the program, I support the University, the University that I went to but I don't have to love a coach who I know is mediocre at best.

LOL, you've nailed it on the head.    

 

BTW, Kiffen was dirty and shady while at UT so USC knew the product they had.  While Crean might not be the best BB game coach I wouldn't necessarily call him dirty or shady.  

 

Bad comparison.  A more apt comparison would either be Calipari and Kiffen, but then Calipari has some results.  Ok, maybe a better comparison would be Scott Drew and Kiffen.

The objection comes from the fact that we already have a number of threads of the same basic principle and idea. Cluttering the boards with these threads is dumb

As a reminder to all, no bashing! I didn't read all posts, but adding insults only make it worse. Also, for threads like this, please use a number of Crean replacement threads that have already been posted. I know everyone wants to get a post across, but we don't need 10 separate threads discussing the same thing. Let's not clutter this board with just one topic. Thanks!
