haha I only run the Facebook pages to get people to sign up over here.  It's just SCARY how easy it is to reach so many people on Facebook so easily.  Those halftime and end of game score pictures I post every game get seen by 100,000 people on Facebook.  They then like that Facebook page, see the posts from this site populating that page, click those posts, directs them to here, reads the post here, gets mad at someone's response or post, signs up, calls that person out in their first post, MDN bans said user,  REPEAT!

haha I've definitely tried to position BtownBanners.com as a New Age of Indiana fan sites.  Been attacking the Social media crowd, developing the app etc to get the younger audience.  The older audiences that are willing to pay for Peegs, 24/7, scout are going out the window.  I'm hoping BtownBanners can capture all those younger posters who are looking for a place to get their news and it will slowly kill off the other sites...

 

Atleast that's the model & plan.  Social Media is a gold mine for new members if you use it correctly.  I'm biased, but I feel like we are the only site that uses Social Media to our advantage.  Believe it or not, I don't actually like making all those pictures and photoshops you see I post.  BUT, they are GREAT for driving traffic.

I found this place through twitter and when I got here, I had heard of Peegs, but didn't know what it was and had never heard of 24/7 period. I think it's working..
