Wow! We can't use words that have a sexual context? A really screwed up PC world gone crazy. Pardon me, but I'll use whatever the hell words I choose to. 

Imagine the number of words that would eliminate from use.  Carpenters couldn't use the word 'screw', even though it's a part of their trade.

And all the people who would have to lengthen their name to Richard. Its as stupid as 120-40 years ago, the Victorians thought it improper to say "legs", and even put skirts on furniture legs so as not to be obscene.

What does everyone think about the 20 year old rule for the NBA before this gets locked up. 

I like it better than what is currently in place. It would expand college basketball, while at the same time expanding the D-League in that there would be kids who would be seeking the ability to play professionally as quickly as possible. There is a reason that is one of the first things Silver spoke about after becoming Commissioner in the NBA.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I've been at work and my Internet time is limited.

I honestly have decided not to defend myself to you. Or to anybody else in this bulletin board. I know who I am, I answer to God, that's all I need to say. My life will not be summed up in a couple sentences I put on Internet bulletin board just defending the right to free speech.

If you would like to discuss the topic of free-speech and political correctness gone amok in our society, if you would like to start another topic in another forum, I would be more happy to discuss it with you. But let's do the mods a favor here and keep this on Indiana basketball. Believe it or not I come to this place to get away from crap like this.

What if their name isn't Richard, but is actually the shortened version?  Now there's a new can of problems.  The carpentry trade would have to stop using a few words, they'd really be SOL.
