Same here. Figured it was worthy enough to be posted. I looked into it a little more and apparently he wants to go to a major conference school where he can contribute right away. He'd be a great pick up. He's a fantastic rebounder and shot blocker.

East...east coast. Point stands...I don't think he has shown the ability to recruit away from the east. I am not being a jerk when i ask who has he brought us that wasnt from out east? I can't name one guy. I don't consider that a good thing if he is our Director of Recruiting.

Everyone complains about Crean now. But I'm looking at things 6 years ago. Was it the wrong hiring decision then?
I remember 6 years ago when I was in 5th grade I wrote a persuasive essay about why Tony Bennett was the right coach for IU. Looking at what we've done and what Virginia (where Bennett is now) has done, it seems to me that they're in the better position. Their offense has flow to it, they have one of the best defenses in the nation, and he's been able to get good local recruits. And they did something IU makes look impossible, win the conference tournament. Am I crazy or was 5th grade me right?

Didn't KJ play a big part in getting the James "sloppy janitor" Blackmon Jr back?

Also read that Ant Lee was recruited out if the DMV. I'm pretty sure KJ has some connections in that area.

 Honestly, I don't think many people were interested in IU at that time.
