Crean also said there would be one more team that we know of that he's scheduling that's a big name school. No matter what it's hard to get worse than this years.

He said a "marquee home game" or something along those lines.  Unfortunately, with him a "marquee home game" might be Eastern Western A&M Tech of the Blind and Deaf.

When asked about the matchup Crean had the following comment

"They finished second in a conference that Google has never heard of, should be a real good test.  They're like a Big East team."

Hey, that's similar to the nonsense he said about Kennesaw State.

EDIT:  And what you did there, I "see" it.

Yeah I was gonna say, Kennesaw would probably be about 6th in the SEC this year.

Obviously Bluiett had his reasons but adding ROJO, JB2, and Bluiett would have solved our shooting problems for a long time.  Play 3 guard sets between those 3 yogi and Stan.  Me likey.  I don't think Bluiett wanted to play with Yogi though.  Bluiett knows how to get his and hardly anyone on our current roster has that quality.

Etherington was absolutely exposed on D against Wisconsin and has not shown to be a high level shooter, Hartman is a perfect walk on type player, and Hoetzel (I will reserve judgement on until I see more of him) but my expectations are LOW.

I will never stop wondering how special of a class JB2, Bluiett, Lyle, Lyles could have been.  That would have been a class for the ages.

On Blueitt, it's kind of hard to say.  We really didn't recruit him when he decommitted from UCLA.

Hard to get worse than this years unless maybe you consider last year or the year before that or the year before that. I can't remember a year under Crean that we had more than 3 or 4 teams anyone has heard of on the OOC schedule.

I think Kansas proved this year what a benefit a strong schedule can provide. I'm not saying it needs to be THAT difficult, but ya know..
