Indiana Pacers 2.0

Recommended Posts

The Pacers really need one of these next two road games.

I'd bet on tonight, even though it is the second night of a back to back, plus on the road. Marc Gasol tweaked his ankle in the fourth against the Heat last night, which would make it likely he would sit this one out as a precaution.

I didn't know that.  I'll be keeping my eye on the Heat at NOLA as well.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure Eric Gordon will be playing.

The Pacers' handbook on back to backs:

Night 1: play well, share the ball, win comfortably, gain confidence.

Night 2: shoot poorly, average about 2 points per minute, fall behind by double digits and spend the whole night playing catch-up.

Went to the game tonight in Memphis. Believe it or not the Pacers looked worse than the Hoosiers which I thought was impossible. Couldn't inbound the ball. Fought over rebounds, over back violation ....on and on and on. No energy.
I think we should consider getting a Shaman to come in and perform some kind of hoochie koochie deal for the whole state of Indiana to get us out of the funk.

I doubt they're true. He's getting older, probably doesn't want to have to sit out a year.

Remember when the Pacers were 33-8?

Remember when we had confidence this team would win, no matter the opponent, home or away?

Five and a half minutes without a point in the first half tonight and seven minutes without a field goal. At some point you have to acknowledge this team's offensive issues are systemic.

I have massively re-calibrated my expectations for this team.  I no longer think an NBA title is possible.  At this point, I just want to win the Eastern Conference.  However, I'm not sure they are capable of that right now.  Heck, I'm not sure they could beat the Bulls in the 2nd round right now.

I just wanted to state how much I love watching Paul George play one-on-one basketball for 24 seconds at a time.  It's amazing he can think to dribble that long before forcing up a bad shot with all he has going on between being catfished into texting some dude his junk and knocking up a stripper.

It's too bad bynum has bum knees cuz he did better than hibbert in a quarter amount of minutes.

Lets go find an assistant that is an expert on the offensive end of the court before the playoffs and have them install their system. I'd honestly trust it more in the playoffs then this crap

The next time I see Hibbert lean on the defender 13-15 feet away from the basket while holding his hand in the air and act like he has good position I'm not going to have a TV anymore

If I want to go to a Pacers game, I can usually pick up 2 tickets on StubHub for about $30 (usually less) total. Get in price tomorrow night is $62 apiece right now.
A buddy of mine got tickets for this game before the season started. I'll be there tonight. I'll be up in the rafters, but I'll be there.
Balcony seats aren't bad I don't mind the view especially for the low prices (not this game lol)
