Halfway Point: Who's Your Final Four?

MSU - Duke - Florida - OSU (Ohio St.)  I have a hunch for some reason OSU will get hot at the right time.  They were a legit top 3 team with veterans and then kind of went to crap.  They are the team I see getting hot and making this a "name" Final Four.

honestly...I don't know who will be in the final four...

but the B1G is seriously overdue to win it all...

 

I am so sick of hearing SEC fans talk about how overrated the B1G is every year because of only having 1 Championship since 1990 (nevermind that BigTen programs have made it to the Final Four several times since)...

 

it's time for the BigTen to real off a few in a row to shut up the overrated talk.

There are probably 10 teams that have a chance at making it to the Final Four.  I am not sure outside of Syracuse anyone is a legit anything.  Before they went on their streak they looked good.  Even in that loss at MSU, they were good.  Last year they kind of went through the same thing with the same core.  Not to this extreme, but its why I picked them.

A "legit top 3 team" doesn't drop 5 out of 6 and lose at home to Penn State.

It happens every year.  Last year people thought Louisville was a top team then went into a slight tailspin.  They recovered heading into the Big East Tournament.  They got hot at the right time.  Just because they lost 5 out of 6 doesn't change the fact at the time, they were a top team.  Right now they are not.  Last year we were the best team in the land for over half of the season.  By tournament time we probably weren't even a top 10 team.  Things change.  The season is long.

Yeah I read about them in Mark Titus' power rankings yesterday and was excited to watch them play tonight. Holy cow. These guys can defend.

I watched this, and yes I agree they are good, but something about them screams, "Sweet 16 loss to Final Four/Championship team!" to me.

 

Just gut feeling, nothing else.  This could all change to me quickly.
