Au contraire.  I love LOVE history...my preference is military history...specifically Vietnam, WWII, and the Civil War.  ;)

Reading "The Boxer Rebellion" by Diana Preston at the moment. So far an excellent read, and sheds a lot more light on the incident than the short accounts I had read years ago.

Just finished Monuments Men.  I'm not a fan of art, art history, etc...but I do love the site of beautiful architecture.  It's amazing how much history and artifacts were actually lost due to WWII in bombing raids alone (not even including what the Nazi's did to the precious art).

Yeah, me too on the architecture. I sometimes love taking trips down the Ohio headed up towards Cincy and just checking out the old houses. There are some beautiful buildings wherever you go.

Isn't Monument Men coming out as a movie soon?

I read about this, I thought it was one of those stall doors. Come to think of it, they didn't put up any stall doors. Good old Russia!

Yeah, if it's not out already.  Admittedly that's what caught my attention.  I was reading an article of 'Books to read before you watch the movie' a while back and that was on it.
