ive read quite a few comments on different sites, but to those who think JB2 is the cure for this team is absolutely wrong. Im quite sure we will be seeing noah leave this year, unless he just comes out flat every game. Yes we will have a shooter but thats not going to help, and by all means im not taking away what JB2 can do, he is so talented and im so glad hes coming to IU, but just having a shooter is not going to solve anything. We NEED a BIG man, no question. We need to utilize him, feed the post, play the paint, and having a shooter on top of that would be wonderful, but until then JB2 is not going to solve our problem.
I think you are spot on my friend. This team is going nowhere next year if Vonleh leaves and crean doesn't pull a rabbit out of his ass for a replacement. It was tough to see Fischer leave. Hopefully it works out.

I haven't seen James play, I just know what I know about him from reading. I'm scared that people are putting way too much faith in him for saving us. It's obvious that he's a great talent, but he's going to be a freshman. Seriously, I'm seeing Final Four predictions next year. Even if Noah stays that is far-fetched.

You are right, and ive said this before, a lot of fans seem to always just bonkers over players just because the number of stars theyve been ranked. I always see stupid predictions like that, its just so ridiculous.

When I say that JBJ is the cure for this team; I mean he is the cure for THIS team. If Vonleh goes pro, which it really looks like is going to happen, we are hurting big on the front line. We'll have to bring in somebody and hope and pray they turn out good.

Not a recipe for success, nor do i ever see it changing under this regime.

11 Indiana players logged at least five minutes last night against Nebraska, more than any other Big Ten game this season. #iubb

Three of them should never sniff five minutes.

And, I hold the Captain of this ship responsible for that. Do they just check into the scores table on their own?

Crean is definitely at fault for this. No one can deny that.

Note: Hanner played 13 minutes last night. In three Big Ten wins, he averaged 4.3 minutes per game. In five losses, he averaged more than double, 9.6 MPG.

Hell, we might bring johnsoniu and evilleangler off the bench next. You never know. They may be old, but it's worth a shot.

He should bring me off the bench.  I'm a what I've heard called a "confidence shooter", if I make a couple early I can fill it up.  If I miss early, well I won't look any worse than the likes of Evan and Will and Troy and Stan.

Sick to my stomach.  Haven't been able to say this since the end of Mike Davis but I honestly don't even want to watch on Sunday.  I will, but wow, this coach needs to get his head out of his you know what, FAST.

On a side note, I don't know what took me so long to find you all over here.  This site is awesome!  Feels like HSN again.  Takes a little bit of the sting off of that abomination I just sat through.

It's about freaking time you came over!!! Now you know where some of is went! Welcome, and hope you continue to post here!

Pretty sure I can handle the intricacies of this offense--I stand around and watch Yogi dribble. If he dribbles toward me I mosey over to the other side of the court and watch him dribble from over there. Occasionally glance at an opponent and consider that setting a hard pick might be a good idea, but then decide against it and go back to watching Yogi dribble. I think I got it.

Hold up, every once in a while you have to participate in the weave. Its a necessary part of this half court offense.
