As an unbiased opinion I honestly don't see a problem with the preseason 9. I certainly don't expect them to be a 9 as I have them probably in the 5-7 range this season but realistically an 8 or 9 isn't a joke if they don't get some key wins they are expected to and are an early out in big ten tourney.

Yes, they are based on full season. Pretty much predicting the season end before any games are played... Pretty hard to do. That's why this is a little laughable.

 

Maybe he's thinking CTC is going to hire Mallory to run our defense, pushing them down the boards?

Too many mid majors in the 6-8 seed range for IU to get a 9 seed.  Love how Iowa got a 7 seed also... I think they will be a good team, but I dont think they will win many on the road in the B1G.

I don't think IU will be a 9 seed, but I think they will be in the 6 to 7 range. This team will be good, but won't be as good as two years ago IMO. Very electric team, but will need to find a few things within themselves as a team to get a 5 or better seed. Just one man's opinion!
