It's sad, but I honestly don't care about the 2014 class anymore. I'm THRILLED with Blackmon, Johnson & Hoetzel so as long as those three sign. I'm good. Adding Lyle would be great, but it honest doesn't matter to me anymore. This team is stacked next year regardless.

I agree. We are already going to be so deep next year. Another commit would just add to it but if we don't get him, big deal, won't matter much. Would love to have him but not going to stress over this one. It would be a good sign for him to come because it would show that he is willing to work for a starting spot.

That would be a scary and tense locker room. I don't mind oversigning, it's a part of the game now, but I don't like having Patterson issues come up.

Honestly, after seeing the team play the other day and with the holes that will be filled with the incoming class, I think we will be just fine for next year. Lyle would be a nice final piece to help cement that point guard spot (I highly doubt he starts over Yogi), but not necessary. 

 

I love recruiting and follow it way too closely, but it is easy to forget that those incoming freshman are joining a team that is already full of talent. You don't need to have a 6 freshman class every year if you have a bunch of Sophomores through Seniors that are pretty darn good.

 

That being said, I think we are fine now. Guards got addressed and when coupled with the players they will meet next may, I think we will have ourselves a pretty good team.
