Blackmon finished with 40 in a 98-64 win. Knee seemed like a non issue he couldnt miss and could really start for the Hoosiers now. Very impressive. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Thanks for the update buddy. Good to hear he's back in full gear.

Will be interesting to see the starting lineup next year. If Blackmon starts, then will Crean go: Yogi, JB2, Stan, Williams, and Vonleh? If all of them stay of course. Will Stan come of the bench to allow more height in the starting lineup.

Anyway, so glad James is back and will be a Hoosier next fall. Need his offense!

I was just thinking about this the other day. It's a good thing to have too much talent and not know who to start, though!

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

We need shooters. JBjr and RoJo can't get here soon enough.

I'd like to see us run plays designed to get Austin or even Collin open looks to see if either of them can help out there, but that's a foreign concept with this staff apparently.

They had one of the best shooters in the country in Jordan Hulls and never ran plays to get him open either.

I agree with you on the idea of running something that would allow the open catch and shoot, but it's not going to happen. The shooters coming in need to be able to create their own space for a shot. They'll have to be pretty resourceful.

And that's part of the reason I hate our offense. That's unreliable unless they're ultra athletic. In most cases you cannot rely on a player to be able to make his own shot whenever you need a bucket, it's not offense it's street ball. It'd just be a better approach to have a play or plays you can lean on when you need a bucket, instead of just saying "here, go make your own shot".

I really hate our half court offense. There's a reason we struggle in slow paced games.
