HoosierReb01 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Sudfeld 10-19 for 62 yards, Tre 3-3 for 35 yards and a TD. Coleman has rushed 9 times for 75 yards and a TD.7 IU receivers have caught a pass, Latimer leads with 4 catches for 34 yards and a TD. Play calling has had IU trying to stretch the field with long throws, and getting caught behind the line on runs to the edge and screen passes. Toth has already punted 5 times. Looks to me like we need to remember the intermediate pass game, and try to get our running game more North-South. Houston has been dangerous (to IU) on kickoff returns. MSU has had two fumbles, one of which they lost and that led to IU's second score. Connor Cook passing is 16-23, 152 yds and 2 touchdowns, MSU rushing attack has ran 20 times for 81 yards and a TD. IU can't seem to stop MSU on 3rd down. The MSU pass rush has been a problem for IU today, but that seems to be either a matter of good coverage or not checking down and hitting the short and intermediate receiver.
