Pacers have been awful for the better part of a month. PG has been playing like ****. Bench is awful. 

Keep pushing it Charlie. Its not going to take much and you are getting another timeout. This board is not your personal complaint line. If you have nothing constructive to offer, I suggest you keep your crap to yourself.

That 4th quarter officiating was highway robbery…and the Pacers still won. 

 

 

The overruled offensive foul on Hill is without question the worst call I've ever seen in a game.

Best game of his career imo, West was great too.

I REALLY want to see a Blazers vs Pacers final this year. It would be tough for the Pacers, but damn that would go overtime for 7 straight games. Would be awesome to watch.

The Pacers certainly have not been at their best in the last month or so but the season is too damn long.  39-10 despite whatever hiccups have occurred.  I don't have any question that this team will be focused and ready for a deep playoff run.  My main interest for the remainder of the "preseason" is seeing if Bynum can actually fit in and contribute.  If he can keep his marbles gathered, the dude is a definite upgrade over Ian for the role of Roy's primary backup.

I really don't get it. What does it take to get through to you? I think you might find yourself happier on another board. Would you like to make that choice for yourself, or do you want us to make it for you.

It is actually. He would do better to just stay away from posting anything negative or any exclamations. He's had his limit for the next 5 or 10 years.

So we all know about West and his midrange jump shot last night which was money. But his defense on LMA was outstanding, with West in the game guarding him, LMA was 5-14, with two turnovers, and West out rebounded him

Didn't realize this until I looked at the box score. But Butler gave us 10 points in 20 minutes, and was solid defensively. Whenever he gets on the court for us he is always doing something well, which is a huge surprise, wouldn't be opposed to him getting 5-8 minutes a night.

You know, I get kind of annoyed with some of his posts too, but are you really going to ban someone just for complaining about players underperforming? He hasn't personally attacked anyone here, and to an extent he's right: Paul George has had more bad games than good over the last couple months and Hibbert had no confidence at all last night. If you want to kick someone out of here because he doesn't like what he sees and you can't stand seeing "negative" posts then that's your call, but I think that's pretty weak, honestly. Kind of like how I got a warning for calling Crean a moron when he had four of our worst players on the floor at the same time in a must-win game. It also seems counter-productive for the board to ask someone to leave just because you disagree with them.

It doesn't matter whether I agree with him or not. I didn't even disagree with your comment. Name calling is not allowed, and the decision was made to enforce that. Charlie has had numerous warnings about his posting. His incessant negativity, constant complaining and generally unproductive comments have continually been a problem. The mod team has had numerous complaints, and we have had posters leave the board just because of him. While he was on timeout, we had some of the best game threads, and members who had previously just lurked chose to join in. If he wants to participate here he is going to have to put himself on a very short leash. This is a growing community, and if one bad apple is gong to discourage active participation from other members, that bad apple is going to go. I do not disagree with many things Charlie is complaining about, but the manner in which he does it and the sheer amount of negative posts he makes, is going to stop. One way or another. A filter between his emotions and his keyboard would be a great idea. 

 

Its not about shutting down posting, its not about making every post positive, and its not about agreeing with anything or everything somebody says. It IS about having a forum where the membership generally feels comfortable in participating.
