Which Sub Sandwich Is The Best?

What places have you ate at, and which ones do you like best?

 

Some choices, and I will add if I miss any that you guys pick up on:

 

Subway

JimmyJohns

Penn Station

WichWich

Mr. Goodscents

Quiznos

Firehouse Subs

 

Those are the ones that are around me.  Please feel free to help me update this list, and let the debate begin!!! :)

I've at at every one of these except WichWich.  My order goes:

 

1 - Subway

2 - Mr. Goodscents

3 - JimmyJohns

 

I tried Penn Station for the first time Saturday, and it was very good.  It was a little greasy, but it was good.  It could move up the list, but I'm very loyal to Subway.  I worked there for a year, and our Subway in my home town is amazing.  Best Subway by far.  I know the owners because my best man was their son.  They run it very clean and strict.

 

Mr. Goodscents is different because they slice the meat right in front of you deli style.  Its good and fresh.  JimmyJohns is always a nice get.  I started getting their sandwiches without the vinegar and oil because it really made the sandwich sloppy.  Love it with the Banana Peppers!

I haven't eaten a sub at a chain restaurant for over a year.. there is a local place here called Larry's Deli, has the BEST Cuban Reuben.. 

 

Quiznos was ok.. never been to over half you listed.

I haven't ate at JimmyJohns, and I've never heard of WichWich or Mr. Goodscents.

 

So I'll rank the ones I've ate at.

Quiznos blows.  The quality has diminished over the last 5 yrs and the cost has only increased.

 

Subway is really the only place I go to for Subs.  Which Wich is an expensive/glorified Subway.

There's a Quiznos near my house that's pretty good, but they are expensive.  The expense is why I don't go there more often.

I've had quiznos once and it wasn't too bad. Expensive, yes. I would need to try it again to get a full assessment. However, I don't know if I will go lol. I'm fortunate I work almost next door to Subway. Spend a lot of money on those sandwiches lol.

There's a Subway a couple minutes from my house, and there was one just down the street from where I used to work.  I used to go all the time, especially the one close to my house.

 

There also happened to be a real cute girl that worked there with the nicest butt I've ever seen in my life, but she had nothing to do with why I went in there lol.   :D

Firehouse Subs was brought up in another thread. Will add that to the list. I really like Firehouse Subs. Plus, they have a great selection of sauces to choose from.

Close between Subway and Jimmy but I'll give the edge to Subway because I walk by the one on Woodlawn every day and it always smells amazing.
