That’s best case scenario for IU. IU needs cheap Q2 wins like some of these of teams get against non tourney teams to fill the resume. Since it’s a neutral court game Northwestern is a Q2. Penn st would be a Q3. That would do nothing to help the resume FortWayneHoosier and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote

I dont think it would be. We will see how we come out of Columbus this weekend. Although Minnesota was short handed and not good, we still beat em and there were a lot of adjustments made. we really let Alexis go to work, and didnt take a ton of stupid shots. now.....Martinelli is a good player, but hes not anything we cant handle. I think as long as we hit our shots, dont take stupid ones, work the ball down, and drive to the basket...I think we have the tools to beat them. What wont work is taking a logo 3 with 5 seconds off the shot clock, not letting Alexis have the ball and work with it, and most importantly is not getting easy rebounds. Take yesterday’s game plan (feed Alexis) and apply it to the rest of the season. FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote

I am a complete SamFan... however... He feasted on Minnesota in real part because their only true defensive big Johnson was out. So Sam was guarded by Grayson Grove, a 6'9" freshman. OSU for instance, starts Christoph Tilly, a 7'0", 240lb 23 year old at center. Feeding Sam in the post against Tilly will usually result in killing five seconds off of the shot clock and Sam passing it back out of the post. IUHoosier5 1 Quote

I guess more than anything I would like to see him get paint touches and dish out to open shooters. Ball movement will have to be quick! Quote

It’s about the Jimmies and the Joes. Ohio State has a better roster on paper by a wide margin. Ohio State has home court (solid advantage, but not Michigan St or Purdue) They need it l, but less than us. But they really want it. I’ve always liked this OSU roster and they’ve mostly stunk but they’ve been playing up to potential recently. Long odds on this one in my mind. We MIGHT have a small to medium coaching advantage. I just hope we can keep it close and make an entertaining game out of it. Edited 3 hours ago by WayneFleekHoosier Quote
