Rabby with a summary. A little tough to see this as a thing given that he’s not some kid who just blew up and the offer list was already excellent and has been for a good while. He had a Georgetown offer when Kenny was there, so I assume that’s contact point.

From The Josh Level Classic - Fifty of the top players from around the state of North Carolina

When his team needed a play, the ball found its way into King Gibson’s hands. And there was a noticeable drop off when he was on and off the floor. His team fought its way back, down more than 15 at points in the second half, to bring it within one possession on the last play. Gibson is a big-bodied guard. Adept at scoring the basketball, and still learning how to play point guard. In the 6-foot-5 range, he was able to get to his spots in the half-court to knock down pull-up jumpers here. He has a crafty handle and good feet. His shot can get a little flat when taking it from three, but he is better there off the catch than he is off the bounce. Gibson’s impact was noticeable on the floor, especially in the second half when that ball was in his hands, and his team mounted their comeback.
