Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I fear the team may be mentally broken and hosting the Wolverines (17-3) (8-1) isn't going to help. Our rebounding has been weak all season and if Z remains out, Michigan's average of 42 rpg with a +11 margin probably won't take a dip. Michigan also forces 24 turnovers/game another unfortunate weakness of our team. Hate to say it but hard not to expect our losing streak to continue. Radio Live Stats ronzo4IU 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Still amazing that not long ago, we were one of the B1G's two or three elite teams, looking down at the Michigans, the Michigan States, the Minnesotas, the Illinoises ... Even when we'd go on the road to those places, it'd be an easy win -- 15-20 points, if not more. Now, it's a 15-20 point loss AT HOME. They've progressed. We've regressed. So disappointing. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Thankfully Z back in the starting lineup although no idea if she's 100% or not. ronzo4IU 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 29 Posted January 29 When I turned my TV on this evening, it was already on the B1G Network. Michigan State is annihilating the Toiletmakers in West Lafayette -- winning by 27 at halftime. This is the same PU team we couldn't compete with Sunday. In just three years, we've gone from the league's best team to likely the worst. Quote
ronzo4IU Posted January 29 Posted January 29 And I’ve tried to be hopeful about the future but cannot. Only feel sorry for the players, especially Shay,..pulling for a miracle tonight! mamasa 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 UPDATE Z is not starting. mamasa 1 Quote
Claxdj01 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 You’d think that a new lineup of some sort, some sort of wrinkle, something would be attempted. 2 of the bigger girls at once? Instead of the same trash offense in which it is 4 out 1 low and everyone stands around Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Cieski isn't in there for rebounding, but holy cow -- she missed a box out big-time. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Beau dribbles into a trap and ... falls down. Easy Michigan bucket. Quote
Claxdj01 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Can someone besides Beaumont bring it up the floor Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 30 Posted January 30 And just like that -- we're down 20. This is beyond embarrassing. We can't even bring the ball upcourt. This looks like a fifth-grade team. ronzo4IU 1 Quote
Claxdj01 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Mackenzie Holmes, grace Berger, must have been the best players to ever live. Ray Charles would do a better job coaching than this mickey one 1 Quote
Claxdj01 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I’ll give it to wiseman. I don’t know how good or bad she is. But she is hustling and she is trying. Could hear the thud of her diving to the floor NatHillIV 1 Quote
ronzo4IU Posted January 30 Posted January 30 How many times does Beaumont pick her dribble up and get trapped by two players and turn the ball over and never one word from the coaching staff…jeez Claxdj01 1 Quote
ronzo4IU Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Just now, Claxdj01 said: I’ll give it to wiseman. I don’t know how good or bad she is. But she is busting and she is trying. TM won’t play her more than 2 minutes though… Quote
