I've been maintaining radio silence in the game threads and will probably continue to do so.  Despite what the score was at the half, it just seemed inevitable that we'd collapse in the 3rd Q.  Frustrating as a fan and I can't begin to imagine how the team must be feeling.  Sunday's game may be played in front of a crowd of 10 if the weekend weather forecast materializes.  If the women are going to break their losing streak, this is the game to do it.  PUke (10-9) (2-6) averages 71 ppg with a +4 scoring margin shooting 45% FG and 36% on 3s.  They average 37 rpg with a +6 margin.  Those are their season averages; conference stats are 41% FG and 34% on 3s and 33 rpg with a -2 margin.  They can be careless with the ball averaging 19 TO's/game.  Balanced scoring in conference play with 3 in double figures and a fourth at 9.5.  Tara Daye their leading rebounder at 7.5.  Madison Layden-Zay is a 44% 3-point shooter.  This game is worth .5 in the Governor's Cup competition which is currently tied at 2.5.

Last loss was Jan. 20, 2019 -- 56-53 at Mackey Arena. 

We started a string of 13 wins in a row over our little sisters later in the season, winning by 22 at SSAH.

IU Ladies get their first big ten win. :).  Yeah!!!
 

It’s a sad state of affairs for IU Ladies depending on game with Purdue for first big ten win….as the 2 Purdue games are the IU Ladies 2025-2026 Championship for this season.  

To get back on the right track….the current underclass impact IU Ladies and recruits coming in….must have at least 1 highly rated impact high production player (like being best player on team) from transfer portal (not just roster fillers that try to play).  
 

The incoming recruits along with current roster without at least 1 from transfer portal is total nonsense and just kicks the can down the road a couple years as being a young team and IU Ladies will get them next year….some same reasoning the football program used many of the years before the current Cig era.

Z OUT AGAIN…probably, not probably but make that need 2 from transfer portal (another accomplished big/taller forward or post player…..there are to many players taking up room on the bench that just are not good enough to consistently play at this level.
