Gonna be an expert on him by tonight. MemphisHoosier, sweetpain and Class of '66 Old Fart 1 2 Quote

The kid’s in the 110 range by 247? No, that’s not gonna be right. That’s pretty low. He’s a 6’6”ish absolutely elite athlete who shows court vision and quick mental processing, some facilitation chops, plays defense hard and while his shot has some funk to it, it just kept going in in both games. Has a little bit of a VJ Edgecombe thing going on. Will be a fun kid to track. If 247’s offer list is correct and right now he just has offers from IU, FSU and some local MM’s, that’s probably really good because he’s an obvious candidate to blow up and if the staff is serious about this one getting something done early would he good here. The move at :19 when he faints left and leaves that kid going right is just nasty. Quote

Ok, he’s not as purely explosive as maybe the most explosive kid I’ve ever watched. Carr is so rare he may actually be unique. But when he fills out it’s no problem seeing Curry as a Terrance Shannon kind of athlete where when he’s coming downhill at someone they have no answer but to foul him. cybergates and Stuhoo 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Grayson County (14-1) over Grovetown (11-4) 60-49. Curry pretty quiet through 3 Qs after which Grayson led 40-39. 4th Q all Grayson and Curry had 5p, 2r, 2a, 2s in the quarter. Finished with 13p, 7r, 3a, 2s, 1b, 2t. He was just 4-9 FG and never attempted a 3. Every shot was at the rim and several of his misses were offensive rebounds that he couldn't put back in. Runs the court very well. He did commit a major bonehead blunder at the end of 2nd Q. Grovetown player attempted a quarter ending heave from behind the volleyball attack line and Curry fouled him. Kid made all 3 FTs. Quote
Demo Posted January 17 Posted January 17 If 247 is to be believed, since IU offered Curry has received offers from Tennessee, Ohio St, Clemson, Xavier, Texas A&M and USC. I don’t imagine that will be the end of it. From a style of play standpoint Tennessee feels like a pretty good fit. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago Grayson (18-1) 80-56 over Archer (7-15). Curry 23p, 5r, 1a, 3s, 0b, 2t. 10-16 FG, 0-3 on 3s, 3-6 FT. Not very many of Grayson's games have been streamed on NFHS. Quote
