Brown’s high school and Dooney Johnson’s high school are all of 10 minutes apart. No way those teams don’t play. Anyone around these parts  in the Milwaukee area has an obligation to check that game out and report.

I like looking into trivial stuff like this and the schools didn’t play last year. It looks like Johnson’s school plays a mostly city schedule and Brown’s school is more suburban without doing any research outside of looking at school names.

Wow. If 2 players of that caliber are that close together and those schools don’t schedule home and home this year and next year the AD’s need to be smacked.

I said this when Trent went to Montverde, they are physically ready to go when they're freshmen. The public school kids aren't as prepared. Players like Brown are great to develop. Super skilled but need a little more time to adjust and catch up physically. Probably say the same about Moody. We need to land a pg and a frontline player from one of the factories.

Juneau is part of the Milwaukee Public school district so that's why they play a bunch of other city teams, while Wauwatosa West is in it's own district and plays a bunch of other Suburbs around Milwaukee. When I went to Tosa West, I dont think we played a very tough schedule... we were also very mid when I was there. Crazy to see a high D1 player coming out of there.

You clearly need to use your alumni influence to make this happen. And if they’re not on NFHS they need to be because as much as I’d want to see that game, and I really would, I don’t think a St Louis—->Milwaukee trip in like January is in the cards.

I unfortunately haven't been back to Wauwatosa since I graduated high school, so not sure how much alumni pull I would have.  Looking at the staff, it looks like there are still a handful of names I recognize, including a PE teacher who coached the softball team.

Ill put in a call.  Do we think a $10 donation to the athletics department would be enough?

Forget the $10. Just play the “Do you know who I am” card. I do it all the time…..and 1of these days I’m sure it’ll work.
