Looks like seat selection starts Tuesday 7/22 and letters are in the mail to provide priority points updates and selection dates/times.  You can see your updated priority points in your IU account.

Only four business days allotted for seat selection this year vs seven last season.  Either IU has compressed the selection schedule, or the number of season ticket buyers has dropped considerably.

Interesting - how did you determine that there are only 4 business days of selection? And are they consecutive days Tuesday through Friday or are they staggered every other day?

Do you happen to know what the first selection time is on Tuesday and how many minutes are between selectors entering the process?

An e-mail I received from the IU Ticket Office this afternoon said selection will run from July 22-25 (Tuesday thru Friday). 

I picked my seats in the middle range of the dates last year and regularly checked to see what seats were taken until my turn arrived.  All the selections were weekdays from either 8 or 9 am until 5pm.  I would guess that will stay the same, but I haven't seen any info on selection time intervals or when it kicks off on Tuesday.

Thanks for the response - turns out I have that email as well.  Seems that historically seat selection does start at 8-8:30 and new selectors enter the system every 3-4 minutes.  I agree that it does seem a bit compressed this year.

Email with selection time received yesterday also stated that the system is live for folks to enter in advance and look around/familiarize themselves with the process. When I try to enter I get a message saying that my session has expired, my browser cache has been cleared or another person has logged into my account.  Anyone else having this issue?

Season ticket sales may or may not be down but I selected at 11:16 this morning and my seats from last year had been off the board for an hour or so. I moved back 2 rows in same seats/section so at least from my experience I’d says sales were good and/or more group selection is happening.

Just selected my tickets an hour ago (ranked just outside the top 60% of wbb ticketholders in vc points - down 10% from last year) and it looks like the number of tickets sold is similar to last year, if not better. 

Very relieved to see the outstanding support continue for our hard working players & coaching staff!  It's been quite a ride under Coach Moren and I expect it's direction will be headed up again sooner than some may think.

I agree!  Seeing my seats from last year taken before my selection time was a tad disappointing but I still ended up where I prefer to be - on the aisle behind the IU bench and will be just 2 rows back from last year.  I was concerned that sales might plummet with the departures and "big names" gone but that doesn't appear to be the case.  And to provide a bit of perspective I am well inside the top 10% of WBB ticket holders in VC points so it runs the gamut.

 This is my third year with season tickets and we don't have a lot of points, but I was able to get us out of the corner in section M 36 rows back and closer to mid court 32 rows back in section C.Happy as a lark and can't wait for the season to start.
