Lord, I am feeling so old.  Our first offer to a '30 target.  And we were not her first offer as Iowa offered 10 days ago.

Claire is currently listed as a 5'10" PG but at her age, she could still add an inch or two.  She attends Zionsville HS.  With her young age, there's not a lot of info out there about her.

August '24 article discussing players attending the BlueStar 30 -- 

Claire Stoops, 5-9, guard, 2030, Indiana Elite (expected to attend Zionsville High School in 9th grade, Indiana).  Stoops is a lefty with a nice pull-up jumper.  In basketball-crazy Indiana, she already has rep as one of the top 2030’s (that’s rising seventh graders!) in the state.  Her comment after playing with the BlueStar 30 group after coming over from the All-American camp was “the players are bigger and faster [in BlueStar 30].”  Well said!

Stoops is just getting set to enter eighth grade, but the youngster from Indiana already has serious game. A member of Indiana Basketball Club 15U 3SSB, Stoops recently dropped 25 points in a 15U matchup.  Stoops' ball handling, her ability to create off the bounce and her perimeter shooting already look advanced at such a young age.
