Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 Brutal loss at Michigan and too much like many of the men's games. Collapse in the final minutes. PUke (9-15) (2-11) 1-6 in road games should be an easy win on paper. But, that's not always the case. The Toiletmakers average just 64 ppg vs their opponents 74 ppg. They average 32% on 3s. They have a -2 rebounding margin and average 17 TOs/gm. Destini Lombard at 10.5 is their only double digit scorer. She and Ella Collier both average 42% on 3s but each takes less than 4 attempts/game. Reagan Bass is their best rebounder at 5.3/gm. Lana McCarthy at 4.8 is next. Amiyah Reynolds is a freshman guard averages 15 min./game and is a sister to '26 Steven Reynolds III who holds an IU offer but regardless of who our coach is, this kid is never going to come to IU. The family is full of the PUke virus. Mila Reynolds (a junior) is a sister who has been out all year with an injury. The rematch is set for March 2, in West Laffy. Radio Live Stats Quote

LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Syd not wearing the knee brace today. Not sure if she wore it at Michigan or not. Didn't see that game. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Good start: 10-2 not even 3 minutes in. PU takes a timeout. FloridaHoosierGirl 1 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 First game Men or Women in a while that I've been able to watch live! LFG, LADIES! Good start! LamarCheeks 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 18-2. This could get ugly. Uglier. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 20-2 and the PUs need another timeout. Not even 5 minutes in. Yikes -- our little sisters to the north are not good. Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Going by the eyeball test, Purdue is the worst team in the conference. LamarCheeks and FloridaHoosierGirl 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 15, 2025 Author Posted February 15, 2025 Great start after a brutal road trip. 30-10 Hoosiers lead. 6 players have already scored. PUke already with 7 TO. LIHoosier 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 30-10 after 10 minutes. Our best first quarter all season. Very balanced scoring. Nobody in double digits. Class of '66 Old Fart and LIHoosier 2 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 We're up by 22 with 6-plus minutes left in the second quarter. Analyst trying really hard to speak well of those gals to the north -- but it ain't easy. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Poor Meister -- just blew about an easy bunny as you can get. God bless her, but something about her just ain't right this season. Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Meister might be better off going to a MAC school for her last year. Just seems in over her head here. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Parrish drains a bomb at the buzzer to give us a 48-22 lead at the break. We end the half on an 8-0 run. Syd with 15 points; Garzon with 12. Class of '66 Old Fart and FloridaHoosierGirl 2 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 "Eyelashes" had me nervous in the Pregame Show when she said she'd never lost to Puke, but I guess it was okay since she knocked on wood! OliviaPope40, Class of '66 Old Fart and LamarCheeks 3 Quote

She'll leave that up to Coach Cig. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 PUs on 13-0 run. We're still up by 18. I'd like to be up by more. Just because. WayneFleekHoosier and FloridaHoosierGirl 2 Quote
