What, no Jordan Smith? Seems odd must have previous commitment. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 11 Author Posted June 11 Today and tomorrow, players will play a total of 4 games. Coaching staffs permitted to attend and DDV, Adams, KJ & Clark are all there watching various IU targets. Some early commentary. Caleb Holt was invited but is not attending. He was at Alabama earlier and is on a UV at Vandy today. When you're that highly ranked really nothing left to prove. Jamie Shaw - Arafan Diane was easily the most physically dominant player in the early session. Alex Karamanos - 2026 Trey Thompson is one of the biggest stock risers in country. Trent Markwith - Team Jones is already playing with impressive chemistry at NBPA Top 100 and won their 1st game comfortably. 2026 F Latrell Almond leads them with 23 points, knocking down 4 3’s. Really good performance from him. Demo and mike vannice 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 11 Author Posted June 11 More from NBPA Top 100 Colby Giacubeno - Masterclass performance from '26PG Taylen Kinney in the last game set. Didn't matter who the other team threw at him, he was creating space in iso's, initiating advantages in PnR's & controlling the tempo that best suited those around him. A threat in a multitude of ways whenever the ball was in his hands. Jamie Shaw - Latrell Allmond has been on of the #NBPATop100Camp biggest stock risers so far. Already among On3’s Top 25, the forward has been a two-way terror, creating extra possessions & finishing plays. mike vannice, Stuhoo and cybergates 3 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 Here's the stats for the NBPA Top 100 Camp. There were 3 games for which final scores were not posted nor was there any kind of box score info. Don't know if the games weren't played for some reason or the stats just never made it to the website. Unfortunately, one of the games that did not get reported featured 6 of our offerees: Davion Adkins, Ryan Hampton, Tay Kinney and Anthony Thompson whose team was scheduled to play a team that included Sammy Jackson and Collins Onyejiaka. I'll keep tabs on the site to see if stats ultimately do get reported. Tay Kinney was named to the camp's 1st team. I included minutes played since it was a camp setting and also fouls. You can see right off the bat that Davion Adkins was pretty foul prone. The camp was dominated with players from the '26 class so it's worth noting that 2 of our '27 offers, Bruce Branch and Ryan Hampton received invitations. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 Before the Top 100 camp started, word was our staff would be paying close attention to Quinn Costello, Arafan Diane, Vaughn Karvala and DaKari Spear. There was a report earlier today that Deron Rippey, Jr., had also drawn our attention, however, I've not seen anything to confirm that. Costello had a really good performance and already held a number of high major offers. Within the last 24 hours, PUke, Michigan, Texas, Boston College, Providence, Michigan State, Texas A&M and Syracuse have all offered. He was the offensive efficiency leader at the camp. He attends The Newman School and a high school teammate of Collins Onyejiaka.
