I understand the intent... but the kid is being paid... deserves some criticism, no?

Seems to be following in Woodson's footsteps - cashing the checks, but certainly not earning them.

His production on the court has not been on par with the money he’s made here, but I’m not the one paying him and I don’t think we know enough to say he hasn’t earned it. He is being asked to play a different role and in a toxic culture, he looks to me like he’s trying hard on defense, struggling on offense and suffering from being a misfit in Woody’s system. There was also the rumor of him and Woody having an argument earlier this year that led to his benching when he had an injury of some sort. I’m inclined to cut the guy some slack. He’s probably going to get back to earning conference honors when he inevitably transfers next year and goes onto play like Bates or Banks

Fair enough... and yeah, I heard/read about the conflict with Woodson, and didn't take any of that in to account.

I mean he, and everyone, deserves some criticism for sure over this season. I just would use different words than the original claim. But anyhow I think we can all move on lol
